John Shegerian, Chairman and CEO of Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), the nation’s leading recycler of electronic waste, served as a moderator and discussion leader earlier today at the ATHGO (Alliance Toward Harnessing Global Opportunities) 4th Annual Global Innovation Forum at the World Bank headquarters in the nation’s capital.
The theme of this year’s event was “Climate Change and Constructive Entrepreneurship,” and Shegerian led and moderated the panel this morning on development, team building and network expansion in a rapidly changing world.
Working with an esteemed panel of leading environmental academics, scientists and technology leaders from all over the world, including Ivo Ivanovski, the Minister of Information for the Republic of Macedonia; William Saito, the Founder and CEO of Intecur; and Navneet Singh Narula, President and CEO of nBrilliance, Shegerian led a spirited discussion on the changing face of global communication and the sustainable innovations that effective entrepreneurship can foster.

ATHGO’s 4th Global Innovation Forum was designed to incite individual action and engagement in Climate Change affairs through entrepreneurship in a blended, organic and resource-rich, virtual environment. The event brings together 100 young people from around the world to facilitate candid outcome-oriented dialogue with corporate executives, diplomats, and area experts leading to development of business concepts that maximize financial as well as socio-economic and environmental returns.
