1. Purpose

Electronic Recyclers (“ERI” or “the Company”) strives to promote human rights and labor standards. ERI is committed to its people, the planet, and privacy by cultivating a workforce that will have a positive contribution for its stakeholders. ERI recognizes the purpose to implement, maintain, and promote a Human Rights Policy (“Policy”) to avoid human rights abuses.

It is ERI’s expectations to consider this policy when working with employees, suppliers, and contractors.

  2. At-Will Employment

The Company employment policy is “at-will.” Under the “at-will” policy, neither the employee nor the Company is committed to continuing the employment relationship for any specific term; employment is voluntary. Rather, the employment relationship will continue “at-will.” Employees may “quit” at any time and the Company may terminate an employee at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.

  3. Child Labor

All employees must be at least 18 years of age.

  4. Forced Labor and Human Trafficking

ERI prohibits the use of all forms of forced labor, including employment against an individual’s accord or by intimidation, threats, or violence.

ERI prohibits the use of deception or fraud to control employment.

  5. Reporting Guidance

ERI’s reporting procedures are outlined in the employee handbook along with other policies. Employees can report any suspected violations of this policy to their supervisor, Human Resources representative, or the Ethics Hotline.
