Ravi Brar, who has been chief financial officer at Pac-West Telecomm Inc. (NASDAQ: PACW), has been named the Stockton-based telecommunications company’s chief operating officer.
Michael Sarina, Pac-West’s vice president of finance, has assumed the role of chief financial officer.
“These changes are part of our continuing efforts to align resources to best serve the needs of the business as we implement our national VoIP infrastructure platform,” says Hank Carabelli, Pac-West’s president and CEO.
Don Barton has been appointed to the board of directors of Oak Valley Community Bank (OTCBB: OVYB).
Mr. Barton is managing partner at GoldRiver Orchards, a Central Valley walnut processing operation.
“Don was a very active member of our Ripon and Escalon Advisory Boards and his knowledge of agri-business in our valley will be a real plus to our board,” says Ronald Martin, CEO of the Oakdale-based bank.
Ben Kaplan, a former chief financial officer of two public companies, has joined Electronic Recyclers of Fresno as its new CFO.
Mr. Kaplan previously served as CFO for both Packard BioScience and, most recently, Genaissance Pharmaceuticals.
