The city of Fortuna held an electronic collection event on Nov. 3 in Rohner Park. More than 1,000 electronic items were collected, and all materials were shipped to Electronic Recyclers in Fresno for appropriate dismantling and recycling.
The city of Fortuna would like to thank the following parties for pallets and/or assistance with the electronic recycling event: the California Conservation Corps crew, C. Crane, Eel River Hydroponics, Forbusco, Fortuna Feed, Parks Department staff members and two community service volunteers.
