Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), the nation’s leading recycler of e-waste, today announced that their Municipal Services Manager, Terry Grady has received the prestigious Barry-Troupe Award by the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA).

The award was presented to Grady by the NSWMA at their 11th annual Waste Industry Leaders Memorial Golf Tournament – a charitable event benefiting Easter Seals Massachusetts.

The Barry-Troupe Award, posthumously named after John M. Barry and George S. Troupe – two champion trailblazers in the industry — is presented each year to an individual or organization that represents the commitment to the industry, community and standards of excellence set by the award’s namesakes.

“It’s a tremendous honor for Terry to be celebrated by the NSWMA with the prestigious Barry-Troupe Award,” said ERI Chairman and CEO John S. Shegerian. “Our work to serve the state of Massachusetts’ forward thinking electronics recycling efforts is a privilege to perform. We are proud to be associated with the NSWMA both in the great state of Massachusetts as well as nationally, and we are thrilled that Terry has been recognized as the consummate professional and industry leader that he is.”

Beyond his duties at ERI’s Massachusetts location, Grady sits on the Board of Directors for MassRecycle and has been a Massachusetts and New York member of the Solid Waste Association of North America since 1995. He is a four-time winner of the President’s Club Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sales.
