Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), the nation’s leading recycler of electronic waste, has announced the expansion of its headquarters with the addition of a second local facility. For the expansion, ERI leased 125,440 square feet at 3243 S. East Avenue in Fresno. This transaction is the largest industrial lease signed in 2008 in Fresno County.
ERI’s new state-of-the-art location is a Class “A” concrete tilt up with energy-saving lighting, 30- foot clear height and a laser leveled floor. With this new expansion, ERI occupies over 200,000 square feet in Fresno and growing. This is the third location and expansion that local broker Brett Fugman of Fortune Associates has negotiated for ERI.
The owner of the new facility, Diversified Development Group (DDG), has been developing state-of-the-art industrial facilities in the Central Valley for over 30 years. DDG currently owns 7 million square feet of Class “A” concrete tilt up facilities throughout the Central Valley. “DDG is excited to partner with ERI in this new strategic partnership,” said Brandon Wardle, Project Manager at DDG. “It’s always a pleasure to be involved with organizations, such as ERI, that are bringing new technologies, investment and jobs to the Central Valley.”
“We’re proud to announce our continued expansion here in the great city of Fresno,” said John S. Shegerian, ERI’s Chairman and CEO. “Deals such as this are a pleasure to navigate through when you’re working with partners who are the best in the business at what they do. Our superb broker, Brett Fugman of Fortune Associates led the charge and the entire process was made especially painless by DDG, who are the best possible landlords we could hope for, in terms of understanding our needs and what we together can bring to Fresno’s economy, environment and population.”
