John S. Shegerian, Chairman and CEO of Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), the nation’s leading recycler of electronic waste and trailblazing “green collar workforce” employer, has announced that his popular, Clear Channel Produced “Green is Good” radio show is now available to listeners all over the world via Apple’s iTunes.

The weekly half-hour interview program, co-hosted by Shegerian and radio veteran Mike Brady, was launched by Clear Channel in mid-April and is already the #1 green themed radio show in the country. Starting this week all episodes, including archived episodes dating back to the show`s launch week, are available for free on iTunes as podcasts.

In each episode, Shegerian and Brady open the floor to discussions about the environment and what businesses and individuals can do each day to live lives that follow the major tenets of sustainability – people, planet and profits.

Guests who have appeared on the show include environmental groups such as the Rainforest Alliance, Global Green USA, the Environmental Media Association (EMA), Keep California Beautiful and RecycleBank, as well as big businesses that are doing business in a sustainable way, such as Panasonic, Paul Mitchell Hair Products, Lipton Tea and others. Even Chuck Leavell, Rolling Stones keyboardist and founder of the Mother Nature Network has guested on the show to talk about his mission and causes.

With a diverse forthcoming lineup including legendary sports agent Leigh Steinberg, Allen Gerlat of Waste and Recycling News and Ovie Mughelli, fullback for the Atlanta Falcons and founder of a new athlete’s green speakers’ bureau, the program continues to grow both its audience and reach.

“The success of our radio show is proof that the green revolution is not a fad,” said Shegerian. “And now with Apple making our programs available as a podcast selection on iTunes, we can grow our audience exponentially. We hope to inspire and empower our listeners with this show through sharing information and having discussions with our diverse array of guests. We also very much look for people of all walks of life who hear our show to join us in becoming a part of the solution, accepting their green DNA and meeting environmental challenges head on.”
