California’s largest electronic recycling chain, Electronic Recyclers International, has made a contract with LS-Nikko Copper to sell 10 percent of the company to them.  In the contract LS-Nikko purchased more or less than $5,000,000 worth of ERI’s shares.

In a market of $33,000,000, ERI in a year deals with a volume of 30,500 tons which is not that big but ERI does have 22.8% in the US market.   With that, among the electronic manufacturers it is known that circuit board management is where the cream of the crop is on the recycling end.

In the contract it states that LS-Nikko, to participate in the business will of course be importing Printed Circuit Boards (PCB).  Also, LS-Nikko who already collects 40,000 tons of waste resource a year will now have more waste resource through their shares of ERI allowing them the prospect for growth.
