It was announced today that 1-800-Recycling.com, an interactive nationwide company dedicated to simplifying and enhancing the consumer recycling experience, has partnered with FilmBizRecycling.org, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping the entertainment industry find homes for the enormous amounts of useful or reusable items discarded each day by the industry. The two organizations have agreed to pool their resources and exchange recycling and/or reuse location listings from their respective databases.
Via its mobile App, online resource and phone service, 1-800-Recycling provides information about recycling services and facilities to anyone, anywhere by zip code. Designed to make the recycling process easy and more accessible, 1-800-Recycling.com’s widget will now also be a clickable icon on the FilmBizRecycling.org site, where literally tons of reusable items are routed to places where they are wanted. For those items that are not wanted, 1-800-Recycling.com can provide a green and responsible end of life.
