Electronic Waste Journal, the leading online source for information about the booming electronic waste industry, has announced that it will launch its premiere print issue later this month.

Electronic Waste Journal online currently has over 25,000 active readers including asset managers, asset recovery specialist, environmental groups, electronics manufacturers and recyclers who visit the site several times a week to remain updated with industry related events, industry profiles, and interviews with organizations and leaders in electronic waste. Information is compiled in real time and readers are encouraged and welcome to leave feedback.

“It’s an exciting time for us at Electronic Waste Journal,” said Ismail Oyekan, the magazine’s publisher. “We’ve been building our audience with our online efforts – something that is continuing to grow, and it just made sense to also offer our readers a free, bi-monthly publication they can hold in their hands that features the highlights of innovation and success in this dynamic young industry.”

Electronic Recyclers International (ERI) is one of the organizations advertising in the debut print issue.

“It’s a good fit for us to be advertising alongside our industry peers in the pages of Electronic Waste Journal,” said John Shegerian, Chairman and CEO of ERI. “The time is right for a publication that closely tracks the innovations and progress of our rapidly growing industry, plus we believe very strongly in supporting Ismail Oyekan, a young entrepreneur with great ideas who represents the great changes that have occurred and continue to occur in world of responsible electronic waste recycling. I’m sure Electronic Waste Journal will be there at the front lines, chronicling the many innovations and successes of our industry for years to come.”

The premiere debut issue of Electronic Waste Journal will be available in March.
