Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), the nation’s leading recycler of electronic waste, announced today that Carolyn DeBellis has been named Director of Human Resources. DeBellis most recently served as Director of Human Resources for Fresno Pacific University, where she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the University’s HR management, including recruitment, retention, payroll, compliance and employee relations.

“We are very excited to be adding Carol to our team here at ERI,” said John Shegerian, Chairman and CEO of ERI. “We are a fast growing organization in a fast growing industry – with multiple locations dotted around the country and more to come throughout the world. It will be a huge asset to have someone with such a great Human Resources skill set and track record in our corner as we continue providing more and more green collar job opportunities on a global level. We are confident that Carol is a great fit and that her understanding of how to manage the employee needs within a growing company will be among the many assets she brings to this working relationship.”

Prior to her work at Fresno Pacific University, DeBellis held the “HR Business Partner II” title at Pelco (a Schneider Electric company), where she worked closely with senior management to support strategic company objectives on the HR side. In this role, DeBellis supported the company’s international expansion – including playing a role in the establishment of new locations and acquisitions.

Before her work at Pelco, DeBellis launched her HR career at J. C. Penney’s corporate offices, where she was an International HR Project Manager.

DeBellis received her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and carries Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) and Global Professional Human Resources (GBHR) designations.
