Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), headquartered in Fresno, Calif., has expanded its Fresno facility by an additional 40,000 square feet. This expansion brings the physical size of ERI’s Fresno recycling operations to more than 250,000 square feet.

ERI says the expansion accommodates its shredder, which it claims is the largest and most efficient of its kind in the world, as well as the company’s asset management department growth.

ERI leases the space from Diversified Development Group.

“We’re very proud of the growth we’ve achieved in our home town of Fresno over the last several years,” says John Shegerian, ERI chairman and CEO. “Now, with the continuous growth of the electronic recycling and urban mining markets, we simply need to make more space to accommodate the expanding electronic recycling needs of California and beyond. This new space directly between our existing CRT glass facility and our shredder facility will enable us to further grow our asset management department.”
