Matt McLaughlin, Regional Sales Director for Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), the nation’s leading recycler of electronic waste, has been named to the Colorado Association for Recycling (CAFR) Board of Directors after a CAFR membership vote. McLaughlin will serve a three-year term on the Board.

“Thanks to the CAFR and all who voted for me,” said McLaughlin. “This is a role I’m accepting with great reverence and I’m excited to be able to collaborate with our fellow recyclers, government officials and recycling-oriented businesses so that we can collectively work together to benefit the future of recycling in the State of Colorado and beyond.”

“It is a tremendous honor and privilege to have our own Matt McLaughlin be named to this prestigious post with the CAFR,” said John Shegerian, ERI’s Chairman and CEO. “It’s great that we are able to have Matt contribute our organization’s passion for and leadership role in the recycling of electronics that will ultimately have a positive effect not only in the great state of Colorado, but nationally and globally as well. We are proud to be a part of this vital and game changing Association and to be able to share our own experiences with likeminded businesses and professionals.”

CAFR, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is the leading independent, non-profit in Colorado that is actively working to promote and encourage recycling through programs that educate the public, local governments, businesses, and Colorado’s elected officials. CAFR programs are designed to provide technical assistance to those wishing to recycle.

McLaughlin will participate in his first Board meeting January 24th in Broomfield.
