Recycling Today highlighted WABC-TV’s news segment, featuring ERI’s CEO and Chairman John Shegerian, that spotlighted New York’s SAFE electronics disposal events. Shegerian was part of a roundtable discussion for WABC-TV that addressed the best ways New York City residents can safely and responsibly dispose of items, including electronic devices, that contain toxic elements. Joining Shegerian in the discussion were Bridget Anderson, deputy commissioner of recycling and sustainability for the Department of Sanitation New York (DSNY), and Richard Johnsen, special service manager for Veolia North America.
