Leadership School Armenia has been implementing educational programs to support the development of innovative business leaders in the South Caucasus region (Armenia, Georgia, Iran) for over 10 years in cooperation with prominent local and international leaders, thinkers and organizations.

In his presentation to the gathered room of enthusiastic students, Shegerian delivered his presentation, “Making the World a Better Place, One Company at a Time,” and shared insights into benevolent social entrepreneurship and how good work can also lead to profitable business, citing his own ventures, such as ERI, as examples.

“It has been a great honor to have been invited to join this group of emerging young Armenian business and thought leaders to inspire them to explore what is possible in the realm of social entrepreneurship,” said Shegerian. “This truly forward-looking school and its programs are helping develop future positive role models in global business. It was also an honor to meet and work with the school’s visionary founder, Samvel Movsisyan. Samvel is committed to making this world a better place and his own leadership is clearly having a tremendous effect on his students. On a personal note, it is particularly rewarding for me to be engaging and sharing knowledge with future leaders here in Armenia, the homeland of my family.”

“Aspiring leaders of tomorrow can accelerate their development with the advice and hard-to-codify experience subtleties of established leaders,” said Movsisyan. “We are confident that John Shegerian’s inspiring vision of entrepreneurship with purpose, socially and environmentally responsible attitude, and unique approach to innovation contained valuable lessons for the youth who had the opportunity to communicate with him and learn from his example.”
